The Birth of FRAGRANCE FOR GOOD

Our story begins with the words of our founder, Mitsushi Kanoo. His life experiences and deep beliefs have a strong influence on him. When he was in high school, he studied abroad in the United States and participated in volunteer activities in the local community. There, he witnessed people with different cultures and values ​​living together, helping each other, and learned the importance of "helping others."

After returning to Japan, he volunteered in the Tohoku region to help with the recovery efforts following the Great East Japan Earthquake in 2011. During this time, he witnessed a candlelight night event held in the region, which led to the founding of "FRAGRANCE FOR GOOD."

I was deeply impressed by the power of candlelight as a symbol of hope and connection, and the idea of ​​contributing to society through candles was born.
